Michael Luna

Michael Luna has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Michael is the Founder of Pi Tech, a group of companies specializing in custom software delivery, incubation, and healthcare technology. Michael is also the Founder of Michael Luna Technologies, a consulting firm offering various technical services to small businesses and startups. Prior to that, they served as CTO and Co-Founder of EQITII, an open-source platform facilitating secure data exchange. Michael has held CTO positions at all.health, Openwave Systems, and 724 Solutions Inc. Additionally, they have worked as a Distinguished Engineer at Openwave Systems, a Senior Member of Technical Staff at SBC TRI, and a Senior Engineer at Physio Control Corporation.

Michael Luna completed an Apprenticeship in Control System Synthesis, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science from the years 1980 to 1984. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) in June 2020, Wilderness EMT from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in April 2021, and California Emergency Medical Technician from San Mateo County EMS Agency in September 2020.
