Phil Beach

Project Manager / Senior Consultant at PI-Tech

Phil Beach has worked in the technology industry since 1983. Phil began their career at SAIC as a Programmer Analyst, where they were in charge of simulation model development for the Electro-Optical Requirements and Effectiveness Evaluation Project (EOREEP) and assisted in the development of the Simulation of Infrared Acquisition and Countermeasure model (SIRAC). In 1986, Phil moved to Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as an Engineering Systems Engineer and served as project leader on the DBC - 7 MEOST Durability Test System. In 1996, Phil joined Keane as a Principal Consultant/Account Manager and developed a general-purpose query tool for Ford Motor Co. In 2002, Phil worked as a Software Engineer at Retek and was a team member at Hobart Corp Weigh-Wrap Group, where they automated the full software build and integrated the build scripts with Microsoft Visual Source Safe. Finally, in 2003, Phil joined Proficient Information Technologies Inc. as a Project Manager/Senior Consultant and was responsible for the conversion of 3 systems (Tax, Treasury, and Utility Billing) from Oracle Forms/Reports 11g to 12c, as well as the installation and configuration of the WebLogic Fusion Middleware. Phil was also the technical lead on the City of Dayton migration to full PCI DSS Credit Card standards for Point of Sale (POS) and IVR payment processing.

Phil Beach received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Dayton in 1983. Phil previously attended Kent State University from 1979 to 1981, studying Architecture.
