James Mitchell

James Mitchell has over 20 years of work experience in the field of quality assurance and IT administration. James currently works at Popcore as a QA Lead, where they are responsible for ensuring the quality of software products. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Popcore and as a QA tester (Contractor) at pi-top. James has also held positions at SOFTGAMES - Mobile Entertainment Services GmbH, Oracle, goodbeans, Fox Mobile Group, Ojom, E-net Computers, and Braemore Property Management, where they gained expertise in various aspects of quality assurance, including testing games and software on different platforms, managing release processes, conducting manual testing, creating and executing test cases, and providing IT administrative support.

James Mitchell attended Carluke High School from 1992 to 2000, where they earned Standard Grades in Computing Studies, English, Geography, Mathematics, Science, and Social and Vocational Skills. James also completed SQA National Certificate Modules in various subjects during their time at Carluke High School. From 1998 to 2000, James attended Carluke High School & Motherwell College, where they pursued SQA Higher National Units in Information Technology Applications 1. James then moved on to a work placement at Braemore Property Management from 2000 to 2001, where they earned an NVQ in Using IT at NVQ Level 2.
