Tyson Phillips

Tyson Phillips is a skilled professional with extensive experience in human-robot interaction and architectural design. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Smart Behaviors at Piaggio Fast Forward, Tyson leads a research and design team focused on developing engaging human-robot interactions informed by extensive data on human behavior. Previously, Tyson held roles including Team Lead and Lead Designer for Smart Behaviors, where the emphasis was on integrating robots into everyday life. As a Technical Consultant since June 2017, Tyson provides expertise in green building design and robotic construction, alongside consulting for artistic projects. Tyson's background includes serving as a Robotics Lab Manager and Teaching Assistant at UCLA, and architectural design experience with Morris Adjmi Architects. Tyson holds a Master's degree in Architectural Technology from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech.
