In 2009 Picacho Coffee Roasters was founded to provide handcrafted, freshly roasted, specialty grade, arabica coffee and expert barista training to the Southwest communities of New Mexico, and Texas.

Our focus is simple, source the World's best coffees from the top 1% of the market and roast them by hand with precision. We offer only 100% handcrafted, small batch specialty grade arabica.

Today with over 2 dozen locations throughout New Mexico and Texas, we are building a true grassroots coffee culture in the Southwest. As a company, Picacho Coffee is educating passionate coffee lovers about the craft of roasting and elevating the expertise of local baristas. 

We support small estate farmers by partnering local business with eco-friendly agriculture to provide industry-leading wages and pricing. The individual farmers, coffee pickers, and mill operators who produce our single-estate coffees enjoy prices and wages that far exceed industry standards.

Alongside our single-estate coffees we also roast a number of cooperatively grown, Fair-Trade, organic, and naturally grown coffees. These co-op communities benefit from equitable wages, and the provision of essential goods and services.
