JJ Liou has worked in the field of design since 2013. JJ began as a Graphic Design Intern at Johnson & Johnson in 2013 and then moved on to become Creative Director at KumaWash in 2015. In 2018, they became a Senior Graphic Designer at Tsuchiya Kaban and then Co-Founder X Designer at Placebo Studio in 2017. JJ currently holds the role of Visual Designer at PicCollage since 2019.
JJ Liou began their education in 2011 when they enrolled in the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, where they earned a Master's degree in Design in 2014. In 2012, they attended the ArtCenter College of Design on a one year full scholarship program, studying Graphic Design.
