Nathaniel Mahowald is a professional optimist and the founder and CEO of Pickaxe. They previously worked as a lead data scientist at Sivo and an associate at ARK Investment Management LLC. Nathaniel also played key roles at C6 Bank, where they contributed to the formation of the ACE analytics team, and at VODA.ai, where they led a project using computer vision for leak detection. They earned a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and have held various positions in software engineering and research, notably at IDC and the Nuclear Science and Security Consortium.
