Maor Cohen (Him)

Founder & CEO at Pickspace

After completing his military service in the IDF's Duvdevan commando unit, Maor was the IDF delegate in the Israeli embassy in Germany and in the Jewish community in Berlin, where he was in charge of coordinating activities between the IDF and the German military including training, purchases, submarines, and staff work.

After 3 years, he has returned to Israel to complete his bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing, majoring in media and communication.

He simultaneously completed a bachelor's degree in law (where he also made the dean's list for 3 consecutive years and received an award for community service).

While in his second year of school, he founded a student entrepreneurship program that since became the basis for the entrepreneurship center of the Israeli College of Management and Academic Studies - Novus. Maor brought together entrepreneurship programs from the world's top schools - Princeton, Columbia, NYU, MIT, and the Israeli embassy in Washington D.C and led a delegation to the U.S (today, many of the delegation's members are serving in top positions in companies all around the world).

A year later, he organized another entrepreneurship delegation to Berlin, and the College of Management is still cooperating with these establishments. At the same time, he was working with Bareket Marketing, developing technological products and an eCommerce shop. The company was later bought by Pe'aamit store.

During two years as chairman of the College of Management's foreign relations department, he has led 175 students on humanitarian delegations to Nepal and The Philippines. These programs are still going regularly.

After an apprenticeship in litigation and commerce in one of Israel's leading real estate specialized law firms (Hamburger-Evron), Maor has passed the bar and went on to combine 3 of his passions - building communities, real estate, and technology. He created Pickspace and is now its CEO. The company made a significant impact on the co-working space world, and last year, Maor relocated to New York to be closer to the company's customer base.
