Austin Steed

Austin Steed is the founder and a board member of PickTrace. Prior to PickTrace, they were a software development engineer at Blue Coat Systems, where they worked on enhancing the email analysis system to allow for distributed processing, automatic feed generation, greater analysis, and more features. Before that, they were a threat development engineer at Solera Networks, which was acquired by Blue Coat. There, they were the system architect and primary developer for an email analysis system used for dynamically analyzing and rating emails. Austin has also done contract work as a software engineer, developing an operations management system with inventory tracking and employee payroll supporting piece work and hourly workers, specialized for the agricultural industry. This system incorporated data-mining, network programming with database synchronization, reports with graphs and product tracking. Prior to that, they were a team leader/software engineer at Aries Security LLC and a software engineer at Soltura Language Inc.
