How we started:

PICO Portal was developed in 2020 as a solution to address the growing need for fast-paced and high-quality evidence synthesis catalyzed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Technologists and leaders in evidence-based research came together with the mission of accelerating the research process, leveraging expertise in AI, machine learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms to easily reduce all of those "silent tasks" required for SLRs.
