Sandra Veenstra

Sandra Veenstra is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs and bioethics, currently serving as Chief Regulatory Officer and Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Breathe BioMedical since August 2020. Prior to this role, Sandra held positions at Memorial University of Newfoundland as Professional Staff from 2015 to June 2020 and at the Health Research Ethics Authority as Ethics Director from August 2011 to June 2020. Additionally, experience includes serving as Senior Advisor for Legal and Ethics at The Health Research Council from 2008 to 2011. Sandra Veenstra holds a Master’s Degree in Bioethics and Health Law from the University of Otago (2006-2007) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Simon Fraser University (2001-2005).
