Cemal Ünal

Cemal ÜNAL has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and cloud computing. Cemal is currently working as a Cloud Software Engineer at Picus Security since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at HAVELSAN from July 2018 to February 2021, where they contributed to the migration of a business intelligence tool to a microservices architecture and developed APIs for Spring Boot microservices. Additionally, they worked as a Part-Time Software Engineer and gained experience in design and development at HAVELSAN from March 2018 to July 2018. Cemal ÜNAL also worked as a Hands-on Tutorial Instructor at Bilkent Üniversitesi in March 2020, where they conducted introductory level tutorials on Docker, Prometheus, and Kubernetes. Cemal has previous internship experiences at Ming Yazılım Teknolojileri in 2017 and SinerjiSoft Bilişim Sistemleri A.S. in 2016, where they gained practical software engineering skills. Furthermore, Cemal ÜNAL was involved in public relations management at ACM Hacettepe and served as a member from 2013 to 2015. Cemal ÜNAL completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Hacettepe University between the years 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended Ayhan Sumer Anatolian High School from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Cemal also obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional in April 2022 and AWS Certified Developer - Associate in July 2021.
