Mesut Gürlek

Mesut Gürlek's work experience began in 2015 with a summer internship at etgigrup, where they gained experience in using C#, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Google Hangouts API and Google Drive API in projects. In 2016, they interned at Udemy as a software engineer.

Starting in 2017, Gürlek joined HAVELSAN as a software engineer, working on various projects. From 2019 to 2020, they were part of the Big Data and Cloud Infrastructure team, where they worked with Python, Spark (and Pyspark), Cassandra, Docker, and Kubernetes to design and implement a big data distributed processing infrastructure. The infrastructure was deployed on a Kubernetes environment to provide a cloud solution.

In 2020, Gürlek joined the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey as a data engineer, a role they held until 2022. Finally, starting in 2022, they joined Picus Security as a data engineer.

Mesut GÜRLEK completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from 2017 to 2021 at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2012 to 2017 at Bilkent University.
