Ganapathy Sarma

Ganapathy Sarma has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily focusing on technical services, process engineering, and technology transfer. Ganapathy has held various senior management positions, including Senior Vice President at Pidilite Industries Limited and Vice President at Hikal Ltd. Sarma has successfully managed and overseen the development and manufacturing processes for API plants, contract manufacturing projects, and multistep products. Their expertise also includes evaluating and selecting third-party contract manufacturing partners, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Sarma has worked for prestigious companies such as Teva API India Limited, Actavis (legacy Watson Pharma), Hikal Limited, Zydus Altana Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., and Bayer and Aventis (earlier Hoechst).

Ganapathy Sarma's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda - Faculty of Science. Ganapathy completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry in 1992. Following this, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued their M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda - Faculty of Technology & Engineering. Later, they attended ICFAI and obtained an MBA in International Business in 2009.
