Swapan Ghosh

Swapan Ghosh is a seasoned professional in the field of polymer technology and innovation research and development. Currently serving as the Technology Leader for Innovation R&D at Pidilite Industries Limited since June 2019, Swapan has previously held significant roles such as Chief Manager Technology at Asian Paints Research & Technology Centre and Director at GreenCoat Chemicals Pvt Ltd, where the focus was on thin organic coatings for the steel industry. With prior experience as a Senior Research Engineer at Arcelor Mittal R&D in Belgium, Swapan has supervised projects involving functional coating systems and polymer encapsulation. Additionally, Swapan served as a Post Doctoral researcher at the Technical University of Eindhoven, supported by BASF Aktiengesellschaft in Germany. Swapan holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and completed Class X at Gargaria Subhas High School.
