Adam Symonds

Adam Symonds has a diverse work experience starting from 2004 to 2021. Adam worked as an Accounts Assistant at IMG, where they handled VAT returns, prepared accounts, and managed ledger duties. At Palmerston Ltd, they served as a Financial Controller/Client Manager for international companies, overseeing a team of eight and primarily working on a client called WMF. Adam then joined MasQMenos Franchise as a Financial Controller, where they played a crucial role in the expansion and financial management of the Spanish restaurant chain in the UK. Adam later became the Group Financial Controller at United - finance and trust services, a FCA regulated company specializing in corporate services, private wealth management, and accounting services. Adam joined Boparan Restaurant Group as a Group Financial Controller, managing brands like Harrys, Fishworks, and Cinnamon. Adam subsequently became the Finance Director EMEA & APAC at BridgeStreet Global Hospitality, overseeing a team of nine and providing strategic direction and improving profitability. In their most recent role, Adam served as the Project Accountant at Generator, assisting with financial reporting for new funding required due to the impact of COVID-19. Adam is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at Pie.

Adam Symonds received their high school education at Harris City Technology College from 1996 to 2001. Adam then went on to attend Harris City Technology College for their college education from 2001 to 2003, focusing on Business Studies. Following that, they attended Croydon College from 2003 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Accounting. Lastly, from 2005 to 2010, they attended The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, earning a degree in CIMA.
