Andy Bean

Andy Bean has had a long and varied career in IT and engineering. Andy began their professional career in 1997 as a Network Administrator's Assistant for a Local School District. In 1998, they took on a Systems Analyst role for Commercial Testing Laboratory, Inc. and an Information Systems Technician role for Mount Snow. In 2000, they worked as a Systems Analyst for AllOfE Solutions and a Network Administrator for KU Center for Research. In 2003, they became a College Algebra Teacher for the Kansas Algebra Program - KU. In 2005, they were a Program Manager for Statistical Research, Inc. In 2009, they became an Associate Product Line Manager for Zygo Corporation. Finally, in 2012, they became an Optical Engineer for PIKE Technologies.

Andy Bean received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from The University of Kansas in 2004. Andy then attended the University of Arizona, earning a Master of Science in Optical Sciences and Biomedical Engineering in 2009.
