Anna James

Anna James has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Anna began their career as a Trainee Accountant at Lincolnshire County Council in 1991 and worked there until 1994. Anna then moved to NHS Trust, where they served as an Assistant Management Accountant from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, Anna joined Bakkavor as a Management Accountant and worked in various roles within the company, including Commercial Accountant and Site Accountant. Anna took a six-month sabbatical to travel the world in 2001. Anna joined Tulip Food Company in 2007 as a Site Accountant, and they worked there until 2019. Since 2020, Anna has been associated with Pilgrim's UK, initially as a Retail Finance Lead and currently as the Head of Operational Finance in the Added Value Division.

Anna James attended Kesteven & Sleaford Grammar School from 1984 to 1989. Later, from 1994 to 1997, they studied Accountancy at Nottingham Trent University and earned a degree in CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
