Ansen Pond

Ansen Pond currently serves as the Head of Operations at Pilgrim's, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Ansen was the Head of Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory for both Pilgrim's and JBS Rendering and Pet Food from September 2020 to October 2022, and before that, served as the Director of Quality Assurance and Food Safety for Rendering and Wet Pet Food Ingredients at Pilgrim's from May 2017 to September 2020. Ansen's earlier experience includes roles as Director of Product Safety and Product Safety Manager at Darling Ingredients Inc. Ansen Pond holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Animal Science and a Master's Degree in Food Science from Texas Tech University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University.
