Michael Messele

CEO at Pillar Project

Michael Messele has held a variety of roles in the technology and finance industries since 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they were an Analyst Developer at ValorInform, which was later taken over by FT. At FT Interactive Data from 2000 to 2006, they were a Senior Analyst Developer, responsible for the management, analysis, development, implementation, integration, and migration of various software systems. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Consultant in Market Risk Systems at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Consultant Market Risk Systems at Commerzbank while simultaneously pursuing an Executive MBA at Cranfield University. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Project Member at Incochain and a Project Member at the Ethereum blockchain hackathon. In 2017, they became a Founding Partner of Afalagi and a Project Manager at Twenty Thirty AG. Finally, in 2017 they became the CEO and Founding Member of Pillar Project, where they look after operations, sets up processes, and ensures coordination between various parts of the organisation.

Michael Messele obtained their MBA (Executive) from Cranfield University between 2013 and 2014. Michael also obtained a BSc Computer Science from the University of Greenwich between 1993 and 1996. In addition, they obtained an APMP (IPMA Level D, SCQF Level 7) certification from the Association for Project Management in August 2014.
