Corey Thomas

Corey Thomas is the Chairman and CEO of Rapid7, where leadership involves overseeing business and technology functions including sales, marketing, engineering, and operations. With a diverse background, Corey serves as a board member for LPL Financial and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Vanderbilt University. Additionally, Corey co-founded Pillar VC, a seed-stage firm supported by 22 distinguished Boston CEOs, acting as advisors and mentors to portfolio companies. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President at Parallels, Group Product Manager at Microsoft Corp, and Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Corey holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
