Lukas Sochor

Lukas Sochor is an experienced professional in Geo Data analysis and GIS, currently serving as Leiter Geo Data at pilot Agenturgruppe since October 2021. In this role, Lukas has been involved in numerous complex analyses related to expansion, clustering, targeting, scoring, and competitive evaluations. Prior to this position, Lukas worked at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg from March 2019 to January 2022 as a Research Employee in GIS/Remote Sensing, focusing on automated processing of large datasets from earth observation satellites, along with visualization and publication of research findings. Earlier roles included positions as Research Assistant in GIS/Remote Sensing and Databases, where Lukas contributed to the development of processing chains and relational databases. An internship at the Official Bureau of Geoinformation and Landmanagement provided foundational insights into geodata acquisition and processing. Lukas holds a Master of Science in Climate & Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
