Ao Li

Ao Li has extensive experience in financial modeling and portfolio management. After a summer internship at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2017, where model development for complex financial instruments took place, Ao Li progressed to an associate role, focusing on pricing models for bonds, loans, and credit derivatives, as well as statistical models for simulating default events and credit spreads. Currently serving as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at PIMCO since August 2020, Ao Li's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computational Modeling of Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master's Degree in Financial Mathematics from New York University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
