German Ramirez is a seasoned quantitative research analyst with a strong background in finance and risk analysis. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at PIMCO since April 2018, German has progressed through various roles at the company, including Vice President and Quantitative Research Analyst, as well as a Quant Intern for a brief period in late 2017. Prior to PIMCO, German held the position of Senior Risk Analyst at Banco de la República in Colombia from September 2013 to September 2016 and worked as a Financial Analyst at Lumni Inc from July 2011 to September 2013. German holds a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
