John Lane

John Lane is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in private equity and alternatives. Currently serving as Global CFO of Alternatives at PIMCO since June 2015, John previously held the position of CFO and COO of Private Equity at Apollo Global Management LLC from February 2009 to June 2015. John’s career began at Lehman Brothers, where the role of CFO for Private Equity was held from January 2004 to February 2009. Prior to that, John spent eight years at PwC, focusing on Banking and Capital Markets. John's educational credentials include an FCCA from ACCA and an MBA in International Business from Oxford Brookes University.
