Peter Gunther

Peter Gunther, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at PIMCO, where they have been leveraging their extensive experience in portfolio management since 2021. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President of Portfolio Management at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management, a PIMCO company, from 2015 to the present. Peter also held positions as a Municipal Bond Analyst at Manulife Asset Management and as a Senior Analyst at John Hancock. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Mental Health Counselor at Mental Health Systems from 2006 to 2009. Peter earned a Master of Business Administration from California State University-Long Beach and a BA in Psychology from the University of San Diego.
