Rupert Harrison

Rupert Harrison is a seasoned economic advisor and financial professional with extensive experience across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at PIMCO since May 2025, Rupert previously held senior advisory roles at Macro Advisory Partners and was a Parliamentary Candidate for The Conservative Party. A former Portfolio Manager at BlackRock, Rupert contributed as a Member of the Chancellor's Economic Advisory Council at HM Treasury. Leadership roles include Chair of The Fore and Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers at HM Treasury. Rupert also served as Chief Economic Adviser to Shadow Chancellor George Osborne MP and worked as a Senior Research Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. Rupert holds a PhD in Economics from UCL and a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford.
