Si Chen

Si Chen is currently an Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager at PIMCO, focusing on Hedge Funds and Quant Strategies since 2023. Previously, they held roles at Morgan Stanley from 2014 to 2018, serving as Vice President and Trader in Interest Rate Derivatives and as an Associate and Desk Strategist. Si Chen also spent five years at PIMCO from 2018 to 2023 as a Senior Vice President, managing cross-asset volatility and macro strategies. Si Chen earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore, a Master’s in Computation for Design & Optimization from MIT, and a Master’s in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
