Thomas Eggen, CAIA, PMP, currently serves as a Compliance Officer at PIMCO since October 2021. Prior to this role, a voluntary time off period was taken for personal growth and family commitments from December 2020 to August 2021. Thomas has extensive experience at Nuveen, serving in various leadership positions including Managing Director of Global Client Service, where transformational leadership was provided for the integration of marketing and client service teams, as well as managing significant client relationships and compliance oversight. Earlier experience includes roles at Capital Group, where Thomas supervised portfolio control analysts and managed compliance efforts, and at Vanguard, providing client service to retirement plan sponsors. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from Arizona State University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
