. Develop your mitigation plan with our Risk Register
. Visualize your risks and risk reduction potential
. To find the right balance between the four pillars of asset management:
     -------- Cost -------
     -------- Reliability -------
     -------- Safety -------
     -------- Asset Value -------

What is BOWSTAR?

A new unique bowtie methodology incl. software tool that has been developed in close cooperation with Gasunie and ENGIE. Major elements of Bowstar are:

1. A process model demonstrating the transparency of all integrity related operational activities and the way the cycle of improvement has been embedded in daily practice.
2. Highly structured inventory of threats, consequences, escalations and mitigations for all life cycles of the assets including the inventory of effectiveness and costs,
3.Algorithms that enable the economic evaluation of all mitigations (new and existing),
4. Quantification and visualization of the effect of (new) mitigations in the risk matrix,
5. Balancing between preventive and repressive mitigations to find the most economical solution in managing the risk.
6. Monitoring and control of the Risk Mitigation Plan with the Risk Register

This methodology can be used by the Asset Integrity Manager to ensure the integrity and security of the assets in place, as well as to motivate investment policy and improving continuity.
