Amlan Roy

Amlan Roy is currently an advisor at pinBox Solutions, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, they were the head of Global Macro Policy Research & Senior MD at State Street Global Advisors from April 2017 to June 2021. Before that, they were the head of Global Demographics at USS Investment Management Ltd from October 2016 to November 2016. From January 1998 to September 2016, they were the MD and Head of Global Demographics & Pensions Research at Credit Suisse in London. Prior to that, they were a Research Associate at the Systemic Risk Centre and Senior Research Associate at the Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Amlan Roy's educational career began with him completing their AISSE in Science Subjects from Air Force Bal Bharati School. Amlan then went on to complete their BA (Hons) in Economics with Maths from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. After that, they completed their MBA in Finance and Quant from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Finally, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) and PhD in Financial Economics from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
