David Henson

David Henson is currently a Product Support at Pinc. Prior to this, they were with Ports America where they served as IT Manager from October 2009 to December 2015.

As IT Manager, David was responsible for the stability of terminal operations and infrastructure. This included implementing a security plan for disaster recovery and serving as major point of contact for incident resolution. Additionally, they supported mission critical software for delivery of the company’s revenue generating services. This involved the deployment and operations of TOS (proprietary Windows based OS) and 3rd party integrations (e.g., RFID, OCR and EPS). David also worked with release management to support software QA/testing via TOS version control, new feature review, and patch planning and user acceptance testing.

During their time at Ports America, David was able to successfully partner with software product development, operations managers and 3rd party vendors to support and deliver IT and business process solutions. These solutions led to improved terminal efficiency with cost-cutting and decreased personnel resources. Their expertise and problem solving skills led to their promotion from a pool of 10+ employees.

David’s experience has allowed him to develop strong technical skills that they utilize in their current role as Product Support at Pinc.

David Henson's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from University of California, Davis, an A+ Certification from Las Positas College, and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Phoenix. Additionally, they have Salesforce Trailhead certifications in Accounts & Contacts, CRM Basics, and Leads & Opportunities.

David Henson works with Pawel Lorek - Software Engineer, Ethan Jin - Platform Engineer, and Vladimir Savvich - Senior QA Engineer. David Henson reports to Lou Chauvin, VP, Engineering & Products.
