Jerry Craft

Jerry Craft is the current Supply Chain Manager at Pinc. Jerry has over fifteen years of experience in the mobile device industry, and has been with Pinc for just over two years. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Support Solutions Engineer Lead at Trimble Mobile Solutions from January 2006 to December 2010. In this role, they were responsible for collaborating with internal and external management to evaluate, create, and develop support processes for service requests, promoting agent efficiency and productivity. Jerry also acted as a technical conduit between project and implementation management, evaluating account readiness for support solution team (Hours of Service), mobile solution, driver safety and work management.

During their time at Trimble Mobile Solutions, Jerry also handled hardware and firmware technical support issues for mobile WIFI GPS devices and GPS handsets. Jerry would check configuration settings using a proprietary diagnostic tool, deliver change or modification, and recommend over-the-air bug patches or firmware upgrades. Jerry served as a liaison between solution support and engineering, and was often responsible for identifying bugs for pre-production and Beta firmware releases. This helped to lower the number of bugs reported, allowing engineers to focus on development of product release / solutions. In addition to these duties, Jerry also generated Oracle and database reports, analyzing technical data for executive management team.

When they wasn’t busy with all of these responsibilities, Jerry also managed over-the-air firmware upgrades for customer accounts. Jerry would identify immediate issues and coordinate with field logistics and program management for support. This helped to deliver product performance and service that met SLAs and daily operations requirements.

Jerry Craft is a candidate for a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at California State University, Long Beach. Jerry also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in General Studies from Contra Costa College.
