Brendan Buckley

Brendan Buckley has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Brendan started their career in 1994 as a 2nd Vice President at The Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. After working there for two years, they joined Fitch Ratings in 1996 and held various positions, including Director, Associate Director, Senior Director, and Managing Director. During their time at Fitch Ratings, Brendan was responsible for maintaining and assigning ratings to securities of investment grade and high yield companies. Brendan also managed groups in different sectors such as Media, Entertainment, Advertising, Business Services, Technology, and REIT for both Investment Grade and High Yield. Brendan then joined AIG Investments in 2007 as a Managing Director, where they served as a Team Leader and Senior Analyst until 2009. Finally, they moved to PineBridge Investments in 2009, where they currently hold the position of Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Research. In this role, Brendan is responsible for creating and managing the credit process, leading a research group, and working with portfolio managers to set research priorities. Brendan focuses on investment grade and cross-over credits in TMT, Retail/Consumer, REITs in North America and Europe.

Brendan Buckley has completed credit training at Chase Global and studied at Iona University.
