Maria Suarez Ruff

Maria Suarez Ruff has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Maria started their career in 2005 as a Stockbroker at Commerce Bank. In 2005, they also worked at Offit Hall Capital as a Hedge Fund of Funds. Maria then moved to AIG Investments in 2006, where they worked as a Portfolio Analyst in the Hedge Fund Strategies Group until 2010. Maria joined PineBridge Investments in 2010 as a Vice President in the Hedge Fund Solutions Group, where they were later promoted to Senior Vice President. In this role, they conducted due diligence on prospective and existing investments across a multi-strategy platform. Since 2014, Maria has been responsible for sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring of private funds globally as well as facilitating portfolio management of Private Funds Group's Separately Managed Accounts and Insurance Dedicated Funds. Overall, Maria Suarez Ruff has held various positions of increasing responsibility and has demonstrated expertise in both hedge funds and private funds management.

Maria Suarez Ruff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College and a Masters degree in Finance from Harvard University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson from the New York State Department of Labor, and certifications in Series 63 and Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
