Akshay Pai

Akshay Pai is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Staff Engineering Manager at Pinecone since 2023, Akshay previously held the position of Engineering Manager at HashiCorp from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, Akshay was a Senior Software Engineer - Team Lead at Thomson Reuters (2017-2021) and a Founding Engineer at Throtle (2016-2017). Earlier in the career at V12 Group, Akshay worked as a Software Engineer (2014-2016) and contributed as a Graduate Assistant at New York University from 2012 to 2014, engaging in research and automated systems design. Akshay holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai.
