Ben Esh

Ben Esh has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Ben currently serves as a Senior Product Manager at Pinecone since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at SQream from 2014 to 2023 in various roles. As a Product Manager, they played a significant role in developing a modern SaaS offering and creating a SaaS Lakehouse product strategy. Ben also utilized their Machine Learning experience to define SQream's offering in the MLOps ecosystem. Ben was responsible for the database aspect of the product, optimizing performance, and serving as a Scrum Product Owner. Ben also held the position of R&D Manager, leading a team of 15 people and making important product architecture decisions. Additionally, they served as the Development Processes & Methodologies Manager, where they enhanced productivity through improved working processes. Prior to SQream, Ben worked at Israel Defense Forces as a .NET Developer and Team Lead, responsible for developing an SQL Server backed information system.

Ben Esh attended The Open University of Israel from 2006 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Additionally, from 2007 to 2010, they attended IASA - Israeli Arts and Science Academy, specializing in Physics, Math, and Computer Science. Currently, Ben is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at The Open University of Israel, starting in 2023.
