Ben Schumer

Ben Schumer is an experienced technical recruiting professional currently serving as Manager of Technical Recruiting at Pinecone since February 2024. Previously, Ben was the Lead Recruiter at ReadySet, managing all recruiting and RecOps from January 2023 to February 2024. Prior roles include Manager of Technical Recruiting at Cockroach Labs, where Ben led a team focused on Engineering and Product recruiting, and various positions as a Technical Recruiting Consultant for startups including Kickstarter and Paperless Post. Ben has also held significant roles at Oscar Health, including Senior Manager of Technical Recruiting, where Ben managed efforts across engineering, data, product, and design. Early career experience includes leading recruiting efforts at Canary and working as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Spotify and Seamless. Ben holds a B.S. in Advertising and Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
