Chris Bolton

Chris Bolton is a highly experienced Staff Frontend Software Engineer at Pinecone, responsible for leading the technical aspects of the web experience since March 2024. Previously, Chris held the position of Software Engineer II at Microsoft, focusing on web infrastructure for MS Teams, and worked at Twitter on product experiences aimed at promoting healthier conversations. Earlier experiences include roles at Shopify as a Frontend Developer and Software Engineer Intern, where Chris contributed to the internal information system and web infrastructure. Chris also interned at Mobify and Hootsuite, enhancing skills in frontend development. Currently, Chris serves as a Design and Technology Fellow at FASPE, participating in a professional ethics program. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business and Computer Science from the UBC Sauder School of Business.
