Michael Palmer has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as a Reservations Sales Agent at Pinehurst Resort since March 2016. Previously, Michael held various roles at the same resort, including Line Cook and Food & Beverage Captain for both the Ryder Cup Lounge and Pinehurst No. 8, demonstrating strong leadership by supervising a team of 20 staff members. Additional experience includes being Kitchen Manager at Riverside Steakhouse and Oyster Bar, and Assistant Manager at Locks Creek Seafood Grille and Oyster Bar. Michael’s career began in the US Army, where responsibilities included meal production for large groups, planning events for high-profile guests, and providing administrative support to the Commanding General of an Airborne Division. Proficient in food safety practices and skilled in menu planning and meal production, Michael exemplifies a commitment to excellence in hospitality and service.
