Pinetree Research is an AI research lab building the next generation of autonomous AI agents that can reliably use computers, software interfaces, and enterprise systems to complete real work. While today’s AI models excel at reasoning and language, most struggle to act within complex, GUI driven environments. Pinetree Research focuses on closing that gap by enabling AI to move from intelligence to execution.

Our core mission is to make computer use a first class capability of artificial intelligence. We develop AI systems that can perceive and interpret graphical user interfaces, navigate legacy software, understand structured and visual data, and autonomously complete multi step workflows, even in environments without APIs or modern automation support.

Pinetree Research’s AI agents are designed for enterprise automation, where reliability, auditability, security, and scalability are critical. By operating directly within the same tools humans use, our technology unlocks automation across industries burdened by fragmented systems, manual processes, and operational complexity. This includes use cases in operations, analytics, compliance, customer support, and internal business workflows.

Unlike traditional robotic process automation or brittle scripting tools, Pinetree’s approach combines advanced reasoning, perception, and decision making, allowing AI agents to adapt to dynamic interfaces and real world variability. The result is practical, deployable AI that can execute tasks end to end, not just generate recommendations.

At Pinetree Research, we believe the future of applied AI lies in systems that can think, decide, and act within real digital environments. By turning computer interaction into a core AI primitive, we are laying the foundation for more capable, generalizable, and trustworthy intelligent systems.
