John Kern

John Kern has extensive experience in various roles, particularly in logistical and customer service environments. Currently serving as a Concierge at Pinewood since November 2017, John is responsible for monitoring CCTV on building sites and managing mail and parcel distribution to residents while maintaining daily duty records. Previously, John worked part-time as a Meals & Wheels driver for the London Borough of Barnet Council from 2002 to 2005, delivering hot meals to elderly residents. Additionally, from April 1990 to July 1999, John was a Sales & Purchase Officer in shipping at King Kollakis & Co. Ltd, where responsibilities included purchasing provisions and lube oil for a fleet of vessels and managing price verification and invoice approvals for directors. John Kern is an alumnus of Wesley College in Colombo.
