David Gilbert

David Gilbert is a Senior Staff Application Security Engineer at Ping Identity since August 2023, previously serving in similar roles at ForgeRock from August 2012 to September 2023. With extensive experience in application security engineering, David has specialized in threat modeling, penetration testing, DAST, and SAST. Prior to this, David worked as a QA Engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on regression and systems testing for telemetry software, and contributed to smart-street lamp networking protocols as an independent contractor. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science, with a focus on machine learning and security from California State University, Los Angeles, where David also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
