Stephen Payne

Stephen Payne serves as the Director of Sales Engineering at Ping Identity, a position assumed in December 2023 following the merger of ForgeRock and Ping Identity. With extensive experience in the digital identity and security technology sectors, Payne previously led the North American Healthcare Vertical and Central US Commercial Sales Engineering teams at ForgeRock. Prior roles include Senior Director of Global Sales Engineering and Professional Services at Identiv, Senior Sales Engineer positions at SecureAuth Corporation and Imprivata, and various engineering and consulting roles in identity management at companies including ActivIdentity and Protocom Development Systems. Payne holds a BSBA in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Phoenix and an AA in Business Education and Military Science from the New Mexico Military Institute.
