Ray Smith

Ray Smith is an accomplished networking professional with extensive experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of Solutions at Ping Network Solutions since December 2014, Ray leads the Solutions Architect and Pre Sales team. Prior to this, significant positions included Network Architect at Virgin Media Business, Principal Engineer LAN Solutions at the same company, Lead Technical Analyst - Networks at Aegon UK, and Cisco Project Engineer at Scottish Widows. Ray's career commenced at Gandalf as a Data Engineer, with subsequent roles at Cabletron Systems, where expertise in network engineering and support for Token Ring and FDDI systems was developed. With a solid foundation built at BT and Shell Oil in data center support and network design, Ray Smith has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing technology solutions throughout a distinguished career.
