Davis Zhu

Davis Zhu serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of APAC at PingCAP since March 2021. Previously, from September 2017 to February 2021, Davis was the Chief Executive Officer at JoyShark Cloud Ltd, achieving significant milestones such as becoming Alibaba’s top strategic partner in the SaaS sector and attaining high customer ratings for the Sales Cloud product on the Dingtalk platform. Prior to JoyShark, Davis held various leadership positions at Intel Corporation from April 2008 to August 2017, including Managing Director for the PRC region, leading a large team and managing significant annual revenue, as well as other roles focused on the Datacenter business and smart home solutions. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the China Europe International Business School and advanced degrees in engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
