Emma Wang's work experience includes the following:

- Currently, they are working as a Chief Member at Chief, a private network aimed at empowering and supporting senior women leaders. Emma'srole involves strengthening leadership journeys, facilitating cross-industry idea exchange, and driving top-down change.

- Emma also serves as the Head of Finance at PingCAP, a rapidly growing company with 500+ employees. In this role, they oversee a team of finance professionals responsible for all finance functions, such as accounting, finance, treasury, and tax. PingCAP is known for its core product, TiDB and TiDB cloud, an open-source distributed database used by over 1000 companies across various industries.

- From 2008 to 2017, Emma worked at Cisco, initially as a Controller. During their tenure, they played a key role in M&A finance, advising the CFO on acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships across different business units. Emma then transitioned to Business Unit Finance, where they partnered with cross-functional teams on financial planning, market share increase, margin improvement, and new product introduction.
