Jose Espinoza

Sr. Technical Support Engineer at PingCAP

Jose Espinoza has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jose began their career in 1984 at Xerox as a Sr. Staff Engineer, where they worked until 1987. Jose then transitioned to the Xerox Corporation Internet Division, where they served in the role of Software Development Specialist from 1987 to 2003. In 2005, they joined MarkLogic as a Senior Technical Support Engineer and remained in this role until 2014. During their time at MarkLogic, they also held positions as Support Manager & Fulfillment Manager, where they managed the West Coast Support Team and worked on customer escalations, and as Senior Technical Writer, where they wrote technical documentation and led the contract license fulfillment team. Following their tenure at MarkLogic, Jose joined PingCAP in 2021 as a Senior Technical Support Engineer. Jose subsequently retired in 2022.

Jose Espinoza attended Phillips Academy Andover from 1974 to 1976, where they pursued a College Prep degree in General Studies. From 1976 to 1980, they attended Stanford University, earning a BSEE/CS degree in Electrical Engineering. Lastly, in 2014, they completed a Certificate program in the New Manager Bootcamp at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
