Rick Troemel

Rick Troemel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rick started their career at CM Computers, where they worked as a Developer and Customer Support. Rick then joined Pierce College as a Part-Time Instructor, teaching various computer science courses. After that, they joined Microsoft and held two roles - Software Design Engineer in Test and Developer Support Engineer. At Microsoft, they were responsible for quality assurance, test implementation, and customer support for Visual C++ compiler and related tools.

Rick then worked at Avalara as a Senior Support Analyst and Developer, where they focused on sales and use tax calculation software. Rick later joined Intel Corporation as a Developer, working on implementing new features and bug fixing for the "In Target Probe" software.

In 2005, Rick returned to Avalara as a Connector Developer, and in 2012, they transitioned to Workday as a Salesforce Integration Developer, responsible for maintaining and improving existing legacy applications.

From 2018 to 2023, Rick worked at Impinj as a Senior Application Developer, specializing in SFDC development, Jitterbit integration, and Microsoft Power Automate development for connecting various systems and platforms.

Finally, in 2023, Rick joined PingWind Inc. as an SR SFDC Developer. Overall, Rick Troemel has a strong background in software development, integration, and support across multiple industries.

Rick Troemel attended Pierce College from 1982 to 1984, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mathematics. Rick then went on to study at The Evergreen State College from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
