Lead Of Global Performance Marketing at Pinkoi

April Chen has had a diverse range of work experiences in marketing and content management. April began their career as an Exchange Student at Lycée Condorcet, Méru, and later worked as a Teaching Assistant at the National Taiwan Normal University's Summer Mandarin Camp. April then gained experience as a Sales Associate at UNIQLO.

In 2014, April served as the Local Committee Vice President of Marketing and Communication at AIESEC. April continued to develop their marketing skills, working as a Campus Ambassador for Google, where they successfully promoted the Google Ignite project on campus.

April's interest in content marketing led their to work as a Feature Team Intern at ELLE Magazine, where they sourced trending online content and assisted with brand events. Later, at MyTaiwanTour, they served as a Content Marketing Specialist, initiating and establishing the English content site "Taiwan Scene" and managing affiliate and media partnerships.

April then joined KAYAK as a Content Marketing Lead for APAC, conducting market research, developing SEO strategies, and managing SEO content for HotelsCombined and KAYAK's blogs and social media accounts. April also worked at Pinkoi, initially as a Marketing Manager - Experience, where they researched target market segments, developed content marketing strategies, and optimized marketing landing page SEO.

At Pinkoi, April progressed to the role of SEO & Content Marketing Manager, leading the SEO team and conducting market research to drive incremental organic traffic for Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan markets.

Currently, April Chen is serving as the Deputy Lead of Global Performance Marketing at Pinkoi, where they oversee the SEO team, conducts SEO webinars, and identifies organic keyword opportunities to increase organic traffic and impressions.

Throughout their career, April has demonstrated a strong background in SEO, content marketing, and team management, consistently achieving significant results in driving organic traffic and improving overall marketing performance.

April Chen attended National Chengchi University from 2012 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Advertising degree and also completed a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature. In 2016, they participated in the L'Oréal Brandstorm 2016 Business Competition organized by CrossKnowledge. In September 2019, they obtained an Advanced Google Analytics Certificate of Completion from Google.
